PHILOSOPHY
The Sports Zone Baseball Academy is dedicated to creating a competitive atmosphere with only experienced coaches and assembling highly skilled
teams. Our president oversees every aspect of the program so that the training is consistent throughout. In addition, each team has a coach that is
not invested in the performance of a particular child, which means the abolition of “daddy ball.” Your child is not guaranteed playing time. Playing
shortstop and leading off is determined by what you can do, not who you know. The primary goal of the coach is to help each player make their
high school team and develop into the type of player that could compete at the college level.

TEAMS
The Sports Zone Baseball Academy will have one team in each age group from 11U to 18U. All players have to tryout each year and be selected for
their respective team. The goal of the tryouts is to continue to strengthen each team so that they can compete against the top teams in the country.
The Sports Zone Baseball Academy played against teams from 20 different states in 2011:
